Fannie T. Roberts

CLERMONT, FLORIDA - Fannie T. Roberts of Clermont, Florida died on October 16, 2017. She was 93. She was born on January 25, 1924 in Panther, West Virginia, to Wilson and Louise Bailey Roberts and moved to this area in 1986 from Ohio. Fannie started her teaching career in a one room school house in West Virginia and retired from teaching first grade in Mentor, Ohio. She loved the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians and enjoyed Square Dancing. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Davenport, Florida and enjoyed reading her scriptures. Mostly she just enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fannie is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ralph Roberts, Sr. and she is survived by her son, Ralph Roberts, Jr. and his wife Jetta, of Middleton, Wisconsin; daughter, Chris Redman and her husband Rick, of Port Richey, Florida; Siblings, Buddy Roberts, Douglas Roberts, Nancy Bell Walls; grandchildren, Karrie, Tammy and Richie; great grandchildren, James, Kirk, Kaylie, Luke, Rebecka, Abigal and Grant; and great-great grandchildren Kaibella and Kailani. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM with Funeral Services to follow at 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City, with Chaplain Joel Johns, Cornerstone Baptist Church, Davenport, Florida officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City. Memorials may be made to Gulfside Hospice 2061 Collier Parkway Land O Lakes, FL 34639.
