Faye (Uchner) Stroeh of Monterey was born February 24, 1930. She passed away November 16, 2012. Born in Sheboygan Wisconsin. Living in Monterey Bay area since 1965. Married to Robert Stroeh who preceded her in death April 10, 2000. She established and operated the Grandma?s Kitchen in Pacific Grove and Monterey for over 25 years, since that time she has been retired. She is survived by 6 children: Karen (Rory) Miller of Grants Pass, OR, Susan Koehler of Manitowoc, WI, Linda Ferguson (Don Cockrell) of Temple, TX, Dan Koehler (Kim Mickelson) of Neilsville, WI, Jerry (Cheryl) Armstrong of Salinas, CA, Toni (Kirk Ask) of Monterey, CA, foster son Ron Hatfield of Salina, KS; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Also survived by three sisters: Betty (Arnold) Hanninen of Burnsville, MN, Joan (Donald) Boche of Hartland, WI, and Sharon (Thomas) Adrie of Burnsville, MN. Predeceased by parents Harold Uchner and Helen (Duchow) Uchner Junge, Stepfather Raymond Junge, two brothers Harold Uchner, Jr., Robert Uchner and one sister Joyce Andrie.

Mission Mortuary opened its doors in 1946 at a location on Munras Avenue in Monterey and moved to our current location on Camino El Estero in 1952.
