She loved doing crafts, she would recycle items and turn them into beautiful gifts. Sewing was another one of her hobbies, she would make clothes for her children and grandchildren as well as alterations for others, she was best known for her baby quilts. She managed to feed many mouths with the little bit of food she had to work with. People remember her most for her fresh cooked beans and fresh flour tortillas made on her wood burning stove. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart and was so proud of the activities they participated in as well as their accomplishments, she saved newspaper clippings since they were young children.
