Fidel Sanchez-Banuelos

Fidel Sanchez-Bañuelos Jr., was born on October 16, 1971 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Fidel Sanchez and Amalia Bañuelos. His childhood years were spent there until he immigrated to Colorado at the young age of six and was enrolled in first grade in Commerce City schools. Soon thereafter, he was transferred to Denver Public Schools. As a teenager, his love of music and people merged and became the impetus for him becoming a DJ, his energy spilling out to the rhythm of the songs. With each new job adventure, his circle of friends grew. His charismatic personality generated numerous friends. Thereafter, he became a father to three beautiful daughters: Desiree, Kasaundra, and Brianna, grandfather to Bronx and Loveyda. His passion to live life at its fullest and make people happy was evident anywhere he went; he was constantly greeting someone. Fidel always flew through life, never did he crawl. He experienced life because he never shot down ideas. He was the CEO of “Let’s do it.” He is preceded in death by his father Fidel Sanchez, and brother, Efren Sanchez-Bañuelos (Jaimy Sanchez). He is survived by his loving mother, Amalia(José), siblings: Irma(Eriberto), Esmeralda and Edgar, along with numerous nieces and nephews: Allan, Mariah, Fabian, Cory, Dominic, Savannah, Hannah, Julissa, Niveya, Catalina, Octavius, Esperanza, Jocelyn, Efren Jr., and finally countless friends. Whether it be for his sheepish smile or his love of music and people, Fidel will always be remembered. It is said that “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Fidel will be remembered for making us feel happy.
