Frank Joseph Bozek, 67, of Venice, FL passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2021 at home. Born to Frank Bozek Sr. and Janet Dansbury in Trenton, NJ on the 13th of April 1954. Frank served his country proudly in the United States Army. Upon leaving the Army, Frank went on to marry his first wife Veronica. Frank and Veronica brought into this world 2 beautiful daughters. Later in life, Frank married Patricia Voyda, adopted Richard and they decided to relocate to Florida from New Jersey. After attaining his RN license and serving for 10 years working as a critical care nurse, Frank went back to his previous passion in tool & die making, starting and building a successful business along side his son and partner Richard. As one of the last certified tool & die makers he used his knowledge to teach Richard the intricacies of manufacturing and succeeded to the point that he recently stated, ""the teacher has now become the student"". The two of them for the past 17 years have been co-owners/ operators of Bozek Precision Tool Inc. in Bradenton, FL. In his younger days Frank played semi-pro football on the defensive line for the Bucks County Redskins, participated on various bowling teams and excelled in competition shooting. Frank's current passions included the Philadelphia Eagles, fishing, boating, and participating in the Venice Christmas Boat Parade. Even though he pretended they were ""too much work"" he loved his salt-water fish tank, his 2 cats, Nikki (his feral princess), Reamer (his mouser) and Richard's Boston terrier Isabelle (his boating and singing buddy). Frank is survived by his beloved wife Patricia Bozek, as well as by his children, son Richard, daughters Melissa Tudor and Jessica Bozek. Immediate family members of Frank include his granddaughter's Makayla, Myla and Mia Tudor, Melissa's husband Michael, his grandson Jaxson Caraballo, Jessica's fiancé Joseph Caraballo and Veronica Bozek his former spouse & mother of his daughters. Extended family includes his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Suzanne and Thomas Voyda from Marietta, GA and nieces Madison Voyda and Tara Kidell also of Marietta GA. Frank was preceded in passing by his step-father Robert ""Lou"" Dey, mother Janet Dey and brother Michael Bozek. He is also survived by his nephew Robert Bozek and niece Nicole Bozek. A Visitation will take place on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Farley Funeral Home in Venice, FL from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 9:30 am at Venice Memorial Gardens, Center Road. A brief reception will follow at the home residence after the graveside service on Tuesday and friends are invited to stop by. Refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers (definitely not Frank) donations in his name to St. Francis Animal Rescue 1925 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293 would be appreciated. He loved his animals and always made a point to frequently send them a check or a bag of food to make sure they were loved and taken care of. ""Don’t worry about mourning me, I was never easy to offend. Just talk amongst yourself my friends and share a toast or two. For I am sure you will remember well, how I loved to enjoy a drink with you. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks undone must stay that way, I've found that peace at the close of the day.""
