Frank Reichart Conn

May 23rd, 1956 - July 23rd, 2024

Frank Reichart Conn, 68 of Indialantic, FL passed away on July, 20, 2024 due to complications from numerous surgeries.

Frank was born May 23, 1956 in Kingsport, Tennessee, and grew up in Charlotte, NC, where he attended South Mecklenburg High School and graduated from Appalachian State University. An avid soccer player, and all around athlete, Frank was invited to join a local rugby team. That became his passion, and his teammates became lifelong friends. Moving to Atlanta on 2007 Frank and Rebecca Cross started Atlanta Lab Rescue. Frank was the “dog whisperer” and fostered and rehabilitated more dogs than you could count. To date, thanks to Frank’s efforts, Atlanta Lab Rescue has re-homed over 7,000 dogs and is one of the larger rescues in the southeast.

Frank moved to Florida in 2014, taking a job at Lowe’s, and helping to take care of his aging mother. In the past few years, Frank bravely battled cancer and other health issues, but never complained, or let it show, and was still riding his bike to work every day, enjoying his home at the beach, and yearly trips with friends to the Bahamas. Frank is survived by his brothers Joe Conn and Jim Conn, his sister Margaret Caron. Frank will also be remembered by many close friends like Rebecca (Becky) Cross of Atlanta Ga.
