Frankie Lee Huggins GASTON - Memorial services for Frankie Lee Huggins, 73, will be held at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, West Columbia, on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. Services will be officiated by Rev. Billy Branch. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. Frankie Lee Huggins passed away on March 31, 2011 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on September 20, 1937 in Conway, SC to the late Sadie Irene and Walter Lee Huggins. Mr. Huggins was a retired iron worker and owner of Patti's Diner. He was the beloved husband of Patsy Soles Huggins. Surviving in addition to his wife, daughter Shelvie Jean Dooley, of Gaston; sons Frankie (Wanda) Huggins, of Gaston; Johnny (Debbie) Huggins, of Pelion; and Michael (Mona) Huggins, of West Columbia; nine grandchildren, Katie (Luther) Harmon; Chris and Patrick Huggins; Jesse and Jacob Huggins; Camrie and Brandon Dooley; and McKenzie and Erin Huggins; sisters, Wilma (Tillman) Smith, of Jacksonville, FL; Marilyn Branch of West Columbia; Ledostia Huggins of West Columbia; Marvlene (Billy) Branch of Bath, SC; brothers, Thurmond (Phyllis) Huggins of Gaston; Pete Huggins of Gaston; and Milford Huggins of Gaston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210 or the American Heart Association, 520 Gervais Street, Suite 300, Columbia, SC 29201.
