Franklin "Frank" Goldberg

Franklin (Frank) Goldberg, age 86, of Venice, Florida, passed away on September 13, 2018. He was born on January 14, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA and was a devoted husband to the late Elizabeth (nee Connolly). Frank retired in 1990 as Chief Inspector of Philadelphia Police and was a regular Army veteran having served in Korea. Survivors include a brother, Maurice Goldberg of Philadelphia, PA; his son, Michael Goldberg of Philadelphia, PA; a daughter, Jane Quinn of Cherry Hill, NJ and four grandchildren. Frank was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police (Lodge #5 in Philadelphia, PA), Lodge #126 F&A Masons in Philadelphia, PA, a life member of the Shomrim Society in Philadelphia, PA, the Police Chiefs Association of Southeastern, PA and an honorary member life member of the Florida Sheriffs Association. Memorial donations may be made to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch or a charity of your choice. Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida is handling the arrangements.
