Fred Gustav Klein, 94, of The Villages, Florida passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Hospice House, The Villages, Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife Nita H. Klein, November 3, 2010, and his sister Carole Katzker. Fred was born in the Bronx, New York the son of the late David and Adele Klein. He was a Veteran of the US Army serving in World War II, and a member of the Lady Lake American Legion Post 347. Prior to his retirement he was in company uniform sales. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in The Villages. He was a sports fan of the Miami Dolphins and Miami Hurricanes football teams and the New York (San Francisco) Giants baseball team. Fred is survived by his daughters, Debbie Klein of The Villages, FL and Bonnie Bova (Tom) of Homosassa, FL, 2 granddaughters, Julie Dimolfetto (John) and Gina Aiello, 2 great grandchildren, Aubrey & Jayden, and his brother, Herb Klein of New York, N.Y., extended family Ron, Leslie and Michael Aiello. The family will receive friends at The Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services; 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159 on Friday, April 26, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com.
