Frederick A. Fields

Our loving, kind Frederick A. Fields went to be with his heavenly Father on Wednesday April 6th, 2022 peacefully surrounded by his family and friends. Frederick was born on October 5th, 1958 to Rosa Marie Fields and Earnest Fields Sr. in Bradenton, Florida. Fred and Lois Johnson were married on July 12th, 1997. In 1998 they moved from Ocala, FL to St. Paul, MN. Fred was a master contractor with exquisite skills in carpentry and design. You are able to marvel at his work and craftsmanship in many homes and commercial developments throughout Minnesota. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and friends. He had a passion for the youth as he worked in group homes as well as volunteering with the youth from the community or his church. Frederick is survived by his loving parents, Rosa Marie Fields and Earnest Fields Sr.; his beautiful wife, Lois Fields; two sons, Frederick and Joseph Baily; three daughters, Shanetta Fields, Kimberly Williams and Monica Johnson; six precious grandsons; three beautiful granddaughters; six active nephews; six brother-in-laws; two sister-in-laws; also several spiritual brothers, sisters and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many loving friends. The visitation/tribute for Frederick will be held Friday April 22th, 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55105. There will be a time for sharing of memories from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. A Celebration Honoring the Life of Fred Fields will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00pm at the Arnold P Williams Community Center – 999 Selby Avenue, St Paul.
