Gayle Moss, 72, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on June 23, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 11, 1949 in Elba Rural, Alabama to Samuel Franklin and Inez Harden Rials. Gayle worked as a general telephone operator at GTE in Winter Haven, Florida for 20 plus years, and later worked as a switchboard operator for 10 years for Winter Haven Hospital. Gayle was of the Baptist faith. Gayle loved listening to gospel music and church services on the radio. She enjoyed watching TV especially old movies and spent many hours doing her crossword puzzles. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jimmie W. Moss. Gayle leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother, John Rials of Lakeland, Florida; sister, Connie Rials of Winter Haven, Florida; sister-in-law, Patricia Pierce of Haines City, Florida; nephews, Brad Rials of Huntsville, Alabama and Jimmie Larkin Murdock of Haines City, Florida; and niece, Brandi Skidmore of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida.
