Georgina "Nina" Lowell Bogetto
October 5th, 1943 - April 7th, 2021
Georgina "Nina" Lowell Bogetto was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away on April 7, 2021 in Colorado Springs at the age of 77. Born in Concord, Massachusetts to Francis and Mary Coolidge, she began her love affair with travel and far-off destinations.After graduating from the Shipley School in 1961, Nina went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Georgetown University's School of Languages and Linguistics in 1965. Being a dedicated homemaker, she spent her free time volunteering at the YWCA and with the US Special Olympics.Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Bogetto; and brother, Francis Coolidge. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Coolidge and Ellen Burbank; daughter, Cristina Bogetto Mogey; and son, Curtis Bogetto; as well as her grandchildren, Caitlyn Kimura, Carmen Bachofen, Ethan Mogey; and great-grandson, Xander Kimura. Her love for life, culture, and family had a profound impact on all who met her. Nina will be greatly missed!
