Gerald Keith Anderson
April 14th, 1963 - August 18th, 2012
Gerald "Gerry" Keith Anderson, 49 of Cloquet lost his courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, August 18, 2012 in his home with his loving family by his side. He was born April 14, 1963 in Cloquet to Quinten and Patricia Anderson. Gerry graduated from Cloquet High School in 1981. He married Carol Fisher on May 30, 1987. Gerry worked at L & M Supply, Jerry's Electric, Harold's Service before becoming an ASE Certified Auto Mechanic. He started his own business, "Anderson Automotive" in 2001. Gerry was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Wood City Riders. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, snowmobiling, snowmobile racing, and remote control car racing. Gerry was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Henna Walli, June Soukkala, and Quentin Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Carol; son, Chase; daughter, Marissa; parents, Quinten and Pat Anderson; sisters, Sandra (John) Leino and Valerie (Corrie) Houck; brother, Quinten "Dinty" (Star Hanks) Anderson; mother and father-in-law, Jack and Virginia Armstrong all of Cloquet; numerous nieces and nephews; and many extended family. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Aug. 23rd in Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet. A time of lunch and fellowship followed in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery in Wright.
