Gerald G. Donahue passed away on March 5, 2015, he was 92 years old. Gerald was born on February 25, 1923 in Independence, Iowa. He moved from Iowa to Monterey, Ca in 1952. Gerald was enlisted in the Army Air Corps 413th Fighter Group in the Pacific. He also worked as a butcher for 44 years. Gerald was an avid golfer and fisherman. He is survived by his children, Steven Donahue and Catherine Smith, and 4 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held for him on Monday, March 9th at 11am at Calvary Baptist Church, 160 Seaside Ct. in Marina.

Mission Memorial Park
For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park....
