Gerald Damian Mohr passed away peacefully on January 27, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born June 26, 1923 in Delmar, Iowa to August Peter and Theresa (McCauley) Mohr. Gerald served three years in WWII in the Infantry. After being discharged from the Army, he completed his law degree at Denver University. Gerald was an avid pheasant hunter and enjoyed many adventures with his brothers in Clearwater, Nebraska. He spent twenty-seven years in the FBI, retiring as a Special Agent in Omaha, Nebraska in 1978. One of his most notable assignments was serving as a bodyguard for Martin Luther King, Jr.Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, August and Teresa Mohr; his siblings, Maurice Mohr, Larry Mohr, Lee Mohr, R.O. Mohr, and Eileen Riley; and his beautiful wife and best friend, Ella. He is survived by his children, Karen Howard and Roger Mohr; his grandchildren, Hayden Mohr and Morgan Cooper; and brothers, Clement Mohr, TK Mohr, and Bernard Mohr; and his sister, Rosemary Leonard.
