Geraldine Irene Gonzales March 30, 1931 to July 30, 2020 Preceded in Death by her parents Jose Trinidad Romero and Maria Teresina Romero. Spouse Rodolfo "Corky" Gonzales, 10 sisters and brothers. Our Mother passed from our Earthly Love and Care to our infinite Spirits, Prayers and Memories in the morning surrounded by her Beloved Familia Gonzales. She leaves a Familia of eight children. Nita Gonzales (Steve Lucero), Charlotte Gonzales (Vic Cionetti), Gina Gonzales (Randy Pineda decd.), Gail Gonzales, Rudy Gonzales (Sandra Rodriguez), Joaquin Gonzales (Trudy Gonzales), Cynthia Gonzales (Gary Sosias), Valerie Gonzales (Brian Moscoso decd.), 20 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren with numerous Spouses and significant others. May we honor her memory by dedicating our lives to the goodwill of all. It's the least she accomplished. She was our Touchstone. She was our Matriarch. She was the Matriarch of El Movimiento Chicano. She fed and housed all. She taught and sang to all. She laughed and cried with all. She demanded accountability from all. And we are much better human beings as a result of her Life which now becomes Legacy.
