Born in Chisholm, MN on 5/24/1942Departed in Colorado Springs, CO on 8/7/2012Gerrie was born in Chisholm, MN on May 24th, 1942 to Frank Carriveau & Leona Fesnick.Brother Richard Carriveau, Sister Jackie Hanson, and Sister Tammy Erickson.She peacefully left this world on August 7th, 2012 at home.Gerrie is survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.She had many passions other than family. She enjoyed cooking amazing Scandinavian dishes and was best known for her Cabbage Rolls. She also enjoyed crocheting, crafts and playing with her grandchildren.Gerrie was a bookeeper/receptionist most of her life and enjoyed working with people. The more people she could socialize with the happier she was. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother. She was loved to no end by everyone. Gerrie graduated from Chisholm High School. A couple of years ago she attended her 50th high school reunion with her dear friends and classmates. That was one of her latest treasured moments. In October, 2011 she saw her Dad, Frank Carriveau and celebrated his 99th birthday party with all her family and friends in her hometown of Chisholm, MN.
