Germaine Simard Bizeur

Germaine (Simard) Bizeur 93, of North Port, FL, passed away May 29, 2024 peacefully at her home, with Chris by her side.

Born in Lawrence, MA, she married the “love of her life” Steve in 1948 and they resided in Dracut, MA until Steve retired from Delta Airlines in 1985 and they moved to Florida. They were lovingly married for 67 years until his passing.

Germaine is predeceased by her husband Steve, her daughter Sandra (Tom) Direda, and Steven Bizeur, Jr. 

Germaine is survived by her sons Michael (Jane) Bizeur, Chris (aka Bruce) Bizeur, her brother Chanel (Josie) Simard, Her granddaughters Lisa (Sasi) Haham, Katie Bizeur and her great-grandchildren Ella, Noam and Ariel Haham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children.

Germaine was the best  Mother, and loved nothing more than being a home-maker, raising her children, traveling and dates with her husband. They were lucky enough to spend 30 years after his retirement living life and having fun. She led an active life until May 2024.     She remained healthy and lived with Chris, since Steve’s passing in 2015

Germaine loved nothing more than her family, and they were lucky, to be able, to spend the weekend with her, before she passed. We will miss you, Mama
