Giovanni Anthony Munilla-Allen, aka Gman/Gio went to be with the Lord on February 14th at 6:30pm. He was 24 years young. He was residing in Denver with his aunt Priscilla at the time of his passing. Giovanni was born on April 29th to proud parents, Bryan Anthony Allen and Ruth Marie Munilla. Giovanni previously attended World Alive Ministries, where he was a member of their youth group. Giovanni attended Central Elementary School in Commerce City and finished at Northstar Elementary, attended Thornton Middle School where he joined the Band Team and learned to play the saxophone. Giovanni began his freshman year at Thornton H.S. where he played football and baseball. He later completed his H.S. courses and graduated from Pathways H.S. He was a man of many talents. Giovanni was a go-getter, he wanted the best of everything which included having the best for his son, Giovanni Jr. Giovanni stated recoding songs in the studio with one of his longtime friends, Randy Montano where ge would become a local underground artist known as "GiotheVillan". Giovanni enjoyed varios activities and hobbies like fishing, playing video games with his younger cousins. He loved being around his family and friends, he also liked watching Gordon Ramsey, he loved cooking as well, which brought out his creativity that turned into crazy tasteful concoctions. Giovanni was preceded in death by his father Bryan Anthony Allen and survived by his mother, Ruth Marie Munilla; his son Giovanni Anthony Munilla-Allen Jr.; sisters, Andrea N. Munilla-Allen, Jalysa Cabral and brothers, Stephone Zapata, Joaquin Franco and Nicolas Franco; Grandparents, Juan M. Munilla, Esther M. Cardenas and Cherrel M. Allen and Great Grandmother, Theresa N. Rodriguez along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Giovanni was loved and cherished by many. He will be dearly missed and will live on forever in our hearts and prayers. Funeral Services will be held at: Word Alive Church 761 E. 88th Ave. Thornton, CO 80229 Viewing will be held at 10am and Homegoing Service will follow at 11am.
