Gladys Bernadyne Hix

Mrs. Hix, 95, died September 9, 2016 in Colorado Springs. She was employed by Colorado Springs Machine Corporation and Maxcor Inc. for twenty-two years. She was a past member of Elks Lodge #309, a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary #1273 and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #0144.Mrs. Hix was born July 11, 1921 in Mellette County, South Dakota to Jens Jensen and Goldie Walker Jensen, who are deceased. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Hix; sister, Ilove Sanftner; and brothers, Dale and Virgil Jensen.She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Vicki Orton and husband, Orson, and Carolyn Cleveland and husband, Richard; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Delores Bonenberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Saturday, September 17, 2016 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
