Glenn Elwin Conner, 67, of Lake Alfred, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at his residence. Born August 3, 1951 in Swainsboro, GA to William and Hattie Conner he moved here as a child. He was a meat cutter for Winn-Dixie for 50 years, was a veteran of the Florida National Guard, and a member of Winter Haven Lodge #186 F &AM. He is preceded in death by: his parents, and three brothers, James Conner, Clifford Conner and Jerry Conner. He is survived by: 7 siblings, Hugh Conner of Tampa, FL, Roy Conner of Ware Shoals, SC, Betty Dukes of Winter Haven, Wayne Conner of Winter Haven, Gail Harrison of Lake Alfred, Billy Conner of Lake Alfred and Michael Conner of Lake Alfred. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm till 2:00pm, Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake Alfred. Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com
