Gloria Jean Duran was born on April 8, 1951 to Mary Mendoza and Joe Manzanares in Denver Colorado. Gloria is survived by her children, Marlene (Rich), Serena, Juaquin Sr. (April), Justina (Marcos), Regina (Manuel) and Dejon (Kimmie). Her grandchildren Destiny, Shawna, Chris, Danielle, April, Ashley, Jacqelynn, Zachariah, Benito, Josiah, Jolyssa, Jovinna, Jolanna, Juaquin, Juaquin Jr, Darrin, Aiden, Dre, Shy, Lili, Marcos, Kianna, Esiah, Noah, Christopher, Brynn, Ryder, Aries and 20 Great grandchildren. As well as her three sisters Joann, Adele and Juanita, 4 brothers John, Jojo, Thomas and Manuel and numerous nieces and nephews. Gloria was married to Benito Duran for 52 years and they lived an amazing life together. From the moment they met to the day they left they never stopped loving each other. Gloria worked as an Office Manager for LaVoz for over 10 years and she took pride in her work. But her greatest accomplishment was her family. She was so incredibly proud of each one of her children and grandchildren and she never hesitated to tell them. She was quick to take out her phone to play photographer and even though you weren't always up to it she always needed ‘just one more' picture. She always sent encouraging words, videos, and scripture and loved sharing songs. She loved her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren with all that she had. She never treated any one differently because of their actions or beliefs. She welcomed everyone into her home and into her heart without question. Gloria was well known for her love of Christ. She had a faith that was untouchable, no matter what life threw at her she never wavered. She was a prayer warrior for anyone and everyone. You could call her up any time of day and ask her for prayer and she would stop what she was doing. She would pray with/for you and she never stopped. Gloria gained her wings peacefully on May 11, 2023 surrounded by all her loved ones. Even though we will miss her with every ounce of our being we rejoice in the fact that she is with our Lord and Savior and is living eternally with her beloved husband Bennie.
