Gloria Theresa Nuñez

Gloria Theresa Nuez (60) of Morrison, CO passed away on July 13, 2019. She was born on December 27, 1958 in Phoenix, AZ to Mary Roybal. She grew up in North Denver and graduated from North High School in 1977. She spent her days doing puzzles and watching her favorite game shows - "family feud, cash cab, and America says". Her favorite place to be was outdoors. She always looked forward to taking a trip up to the mountains. She was a die hard Bronco fan and every chance she got, her hat was always on her head. She loved to play dominos and cards with anyone that would play with her, but you had to be careful because she liked to cheat. When doing her word searches, she always found words that's weren't on the list, so she took it upon herself to add the words to the list. There wasn't a crossword puzzle that wasn't complete, because she would always peek at the answer sheet. She loved her some chewing gum, so if you came to visit, you better have brought a pack of gum with you. Her personality was so contagious, regardless if she was having a good or bad day, she would always give you a high five or thumbs up. Her nephews and nieces were her world. She loved being around them. She could watch them play video games and wrestle for hours. They truly brought out the kid in her. She loved that she could get them to do and give her anything. Every one of them got to take a cruise on her Escalade down the driveway. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and father Robert Roybal. She is survived by her son Gary Nuez, mother Mary Roybal (Robert), sister Esther Torrez (Jerry Sr.), sister Belle Vallejos (Jimmy), brother Robert Roybal Jr., 11 nephews & nieces, and 10 great-nephews & great-nieces. Along with many relatives. Family would like but is not necessary for everyone in attendance to wear turquoise as it was her favorite color. Services will be held at Romero Family Funeral Home 4750 Tejon St. Denver, CO 80211 at 12pm.
