CAYCE—Gregory John Elliott, 69, of Cayce, beloved husband of Linda Kay Dawkins Elliott, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014. Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late William Chester Elliott and Mary Elizabeth Coudreant Elliott. He was a proud United States Army Veteran and was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed sports of all kinds and who will be deeply missed. Surviving in addition to his wife of 44 years, Linda Kay Dawkins of Cayce; daughter, Nicole "Nicky" Elliott of Cayce; son, Williams "Will" Joseph Elliott (Amy) of Medford WI; two grandchildren, Mackenize N. and Chloe M. Elliott and other loving extended family members. The family will greet friends from 6- 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the family home at 419 Naples Avenue, Cayce, SC 29033. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC 29169 is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pawmetto Lifeline, 1275 Bower Pkwy., Columbia, SC 29212. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Central Columbia Kidney Center.
