April 13th, 1936 - February 17th, 2018
Joined our Lord & Savior peacefully in Ft. Lupton, Colorado on February 17, 2018, at the age of 81 in the comfort of her home. She is survived by her loving six children, Cheryl (Harry) Cook, Sue (Ken) Gasiorowski, David Cook, Barbara Cook all of Colorado, Nancy (Steve) Tonskemper and Lindy (Mike) Scally of Montana. She is survived by her brother William (Bill) Corcilius of Brighton, Colorado and Lindy Stephens of Cedar Spring, Missouri. Other survivors include her 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Sue is preceded in death by her husband David T. Cook, her parents, James and Lyda Corcilius, and her brothers James Henry and Myron Jack Corcilius of Colorado. Hannah Helen Corcilius was born in Erie, Colorado, April 13, 1936, and was raised in Brighton, Colorado by her parents James August and Oma Lyda. She married David Thomas Cook on December 31st, 1954, on the Eve of the New Year. Sue’s hobbies and interests were sewing, crafts, doll making, family gatherings, camping, traveling and square dancing with the love of her life, our dad. She enjoyed traveling with her family to many international destinations including Jamaica, Germany, Hawaii and numerous places in the United States, especially Montana. Always an animal lover, she will now get to be with Curly, Sandy, Scottie, and Lady just to name a few of the many pets she owned and raised. She lived in Ft. Lupton at the time of her death where she resided with her son David. She was cared for and nurtured by her children, family, and friends until her departure.
