Harold Charles Ely, 85, passed away on May 13, 2023, in Venice, FL. Harold was born on September 3, 1937, in Fulton, NY to Charles and Helen (Mazinski) Ely. He graduated from Phoenix,NY High School, he entered into Canton,NY State University and earned a degree in engineering. Harold married his wife Patricia Ann Dugan in 1960 and joined the Airforce in 1958. Harold and Patricia operated Patty’s Pools in Phoenix, NY for 46 years. They have been in Venice, FL for almost 40 years. Harold and Patricia both piloted planes. They also had a golf course on their property for the family to enjoy. There is nothing that Harold enjoyed more than spending time with his family. He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Helen Ely, and siblings Patty Piquet and Carol Rieland. Harold is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Ely, daughters Sandra (Charles) DeFazio, Linda Ely, and Shari (Robert) Zielbaur, grandchildren Chuckie DeFazio, Joe & Sierra Torres, and many friends and family.
