Harold E. Hinzman

Harold E Hinzman, Sr. of Polk City, FL, passed away Monday, March 5th, 2018 at the age of 79. A native of Sandyville, WV, born February 27th, 1939 to father, Frank McGrew and mother, Marie Hinzman. He was raised by his grandparents Ezra and Vena Hinzman, also of Sandyville, WV. Harold moved to Polk City, FL from Hoopeston, IL in 1989. He retired from Walt Disney World as a carpenter and cabinet maker. His passions included being an avid Chicago Cub Fan, gardening, and loving his family and friends. Also, he was a strong man of faith who attended Haven's Assembly of God in Lakeland, FL. Harold was preceded in death by sons Steven Lee and Michael Ray Hinzman. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ruth Ann; and children: Jo Ann Burge (Doug), Eugene Hinzman Jr. (Kathy), Susan Nichols (Chuck), Paul Hinzman (Debbie), David Hinzman (Stacey), and Mark Hinzman (Debra); and his sisters: Pearl Hinzman/Coen, and Janet Enix (Terry); and uncle, Clay McGrew (Carolyn). Harold also leaves behind 24 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 10th, 2018 at Haven's Assembly of God, 705 Woodland Ave, Lakeland, FL at 11:00am.
