He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nora (Kunzie) Tracy as well as 4 children, Susan (Wayne) Anderson, Patty (David) Babers, Alan (Debby) Tracy, and Judy (David) Pershing. He was grandfather to 16 children, Brian and Aaron (Trish) Anderson; Paul (Melissa), Nate (Lori), Becky, and Steve (Valerie) Babers; Matt (Heather) Tracy, Jenni (Jeremy) Doan, April (Aaron) Shutt, Jamie (Bill) Rollison, Josh Tracy, Michaeleen (Jack) Horner, Matthew and Chris Tracy; and Rachel and Daniel Pershing. He was also great grandfather to 21 children with one more on the way. Bud was preceeded in death by his parents, Seward R. Tracy and Anna Shawler as well as his sister, Helen Andrews. Bud served in the Army Signal Corps during World War II as a high speed radio operator in the China Burma India theater. After the war ended, Bud returned to Denver and began his career in the airline industry. He was working for Western Airlines in Billings. Montana as a radio operator when he met and married Nora. After transferring back to Denver, they started their family of ultimately 4 children. In 1959, Bud accepted Christ as his personal Savior and continued to walk with Him until he left this earth. Because of his deep desire to love and serve his Lord and Savior, Bud’s family came to know Christ as well, even to the 4th generation. He left an amazing spiritual legacy that continues on to this day. Bud enjoyed playing his harmonica, or mouth harp as he called it, whenever he could. He would rock in his rocking chair and play to everyone’s enjoyment. He had opportunity to use his talent at Bible studies and nursing home services. Bud was an inventor who had applied for and received a patent on his invention. He wrote a song “The Singing Wires” which was copyrighted. He also wrote an article entitled “My Colorado” when he was in the Army which was published in a local newspaper. Even though Bud accomplished so much in his life, he considered his greatest accomplishment to be his family, and he instilled in them a desire to love and serve the Lord.
