Helen was an exceptional matriarch and lover of family. She cared for her husband, Lloyd during his final years with Alzheimer's. She was a strong, proud, dutiful wife and mother who stopped at nothing to provide for those she cared for. Helen was a Girl Scout leader, member of the Methodist Church, active in the PTA, School board, Garden Club, VFW Auxiliary and Eastern Star. Helen was a tremendous cook and created a tradition of celebrating life through food, always surrounded by family. Born in Sandyville, West Virginia, she spent the lion's share of her life in Ohio, primarily in The Plains and Circleville. In retirement, she and Grandpa retired in Venice, Florida. There, they enjoyed the riches of retired life by golfing, playing cards and always warmly hosting family gatherings. The Kittle family celebrates the tremendous legacy she left for us. Helen will be missed but she leaves with us a keen awareness of the incredible years she spent with us. We will proudly carry on the values of love and family she so generously demonstrated to all during her time here.
