Henry Herbert “Hank” Herrington, 77, of Venice, Florida, passed away on February 17, 2024. He was born on April 25, 1946 in Rochester, New York. He grew up in the village of Livonia, New York. He earned his BA degree from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA and was also a CPA. Hank also served in U.S. Army Reserves. Hank was the Senior Vice President of Northern Dealership Operations for Holman Automotive. “Hank provided exemplary leadership throughout his thirty-four years at Holman, and he laid the foundation for the company we are today. The Holman family is grateful for his example, his integrity and his friendship.” - Frank Biedeman, Vice President of Resource Development Upon retirement in 2008, Hank moved to Venice, Florida where he continued to pursue his many passions - spending time with family, grandchildren and neighbors, exercise and fitness, world travel and the joys of the close-knit community of his summer residence in High Bar Harbor, Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Hank is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wendy Evans Herrington; two sons, Scott Evans Herrington of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Brett Jonathan Herrington of Berlin, MD; two grandsons, Finch Herrington of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Ketch Herrington of Mt. Laurel, NJ; daughter-in-law, Katie Beran and two granddaughters, Brielle Beran and Brooklyn Beran of Berlin, MD. He was preceded in death by Laurena Wyffels Herrington and Evert & Wendy Evans. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Port Fire Rescue, 4980 City Center Blvd., North Port, Florida 34286.
