Hilario "Larry" Valdez was born on August 3, 1939 in San Antonio Texas. Larry passed away at age 82 with family by his side on December 14, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Valdez; daughter, Catherine Miller; and sister, Rosario Henderson.Larry is survived by his children, Anthony Valdez, Rachael (Chas) de la Cuadra; his granddaughters, Shira (Walter) Stockard and Carmen (Evan) Wilkerson; and four great-grandchildren, Samuel Stockard, Jonah Stockard, Margaret Stockard and Evelyn Wilkerson; and his brother, Rick Valdez; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. Always ready with a joke, he enjoyed laughing and making others laugh. He enjoyed walking his dog, Buddy, every day. Larry also enjoyed attending church services and to join in fellowship with others. A celebration of life will take place for Larry sometime in the spring 2022, date still to be determined.
