Irene C. Bossenmaier

Age 89, of St. Paul Preceded in death by parents, William and Caroline Bossenmaier; brothers, John, William and Eugene; sister, Lois Van Cleve. Survived by many nephews and nieces, including Rebecca (Stuart) Johnson, Woodbury; Melissa (Brian) Loe, Apple Valley; Sara (Steven) Hill, Ramsey; Carolyn Peterson, Minnetonka; sister-in-law, Monica Bossenmaier, Roseville; and extended family and friends. Irene graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1944 and from the College of St. Catherine with a degree in chemistry in 1948. She was employed by the Department of Medicine, University of Minnesota Hospitals for 45 years. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Thursday, September 8 at the CHURCH OF ST. FRANCIS DE SALES, 650 Palace Ave., St. Paul. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at church 1 hour prior to Mass. Memorials preferred to St. Catherine University.
