Irene Adolphine Cooke, age 99, of Venice, FL, died on February 21, 2007. She was born in Texas County, Missouri on May 24, 1907, and came to Venice from Bloomington, Indiana in 1980. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Faith. Surviving family members include her son, Tom L. Cooke and wife Naomi, of Venice, and 2 grandchildren, Curt Cooke of Nokomis, FL and Vickie Devine of Las Vegas, Nevada. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
