Irene Victoria "Dede" Lucero, 87 of Denver. It is with a sad heart that the Lucero family announce the passing of their Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Irene V. "Dede" Lucero. Irene entered into Heaven's Gates on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at her home in Denver, Colorado. She was born on June 16, 1929 in Clayton, New Mexico to her parents, Jose and Rose Castello. Irene along with her husband Frederick were business owners of Lucero's Mexican Restaurant in North Denver for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Pete Lucero, Sr. She will be cherished by her family, son Fred P. Lucero, Jr.; 5 grandchildren, Thomas Lucero, Edie Rocha, Tim Lucero, Jr., Jason Lucero and Joey Lucero; and 10 Great Grandchildren; her brother Rudy Roybal and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 10:00am to 11:00am, with a Celebration of Life service at 11:00am at His Love Fellowship, 910 Kalamath St., Denver, Colorado.
