Irene "MawMaw" Jeanette Stinson
November 21st, 1944 - April 30th, 2014
Irene Jeanette Stinson "MawMaw", age 69, of Haines City, Florida passed away on April 30, 2014 at Good Shepard Hospice Forsythe House in Auburndale, FL. She was born in Lauderdale Co., Tennessee on November 21, 1944 to Pervie and Willie Pearl Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Euel D. Stinson, and her father and mother. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tom Causey, Edward Anderson, Paul O. Causey, James Robert Anderson and a sister, Jewel Garrison. Survivors include her daughters, Irene (Don) Walker, Haines City, Tanya (Jim) Roberts, Lakeland, Sonya (Ken) Carter, Haines City, and son Bobby (Beverly) Bledsoe, Strawberry Plains, Tn. She is also survived by her grandsons, Shawn Roberts, Waylon Walker (Hayley), Tony Bledsoe, Michael Beasley, Brennan Bledsoe, and Daniel Carter. She is survived by her granddaughters, Kayle Beasley, Ashle Bledsoe, and Madyson Carter. She is also survived by one great grandson Lane Walker. Survivors also include sisters, Gladys Clayton of Clewiston, Fl, Nellie Miller, Hampton, Ga, and Diana Anderson (Tommy), Blairsville, Ga. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. MawMaw's greatest passion was her grandchildren. She spent many years volunteering in their schools. She was Volunteer of the Year at Dundee Elementary where she spent many hours volunteering for all of the children. She also enjoyed fishing with her grandchildren and watching the kids play their sports. In her quiet time she enjoyed reading, and creating beautiful paintings which she shared with everyone she knew. Everyone that met MawMaw came to love her and she was known and admired for her dedication to her family. Services are being held on Saturday May 3, 2014 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Visitation will begin at 1 with services to follow at 2. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
