Isabel Christina Requena

On February 10, 2024, after a fight with cancer, Isabel Christina Requena went to be with our LORD in her forever home. She was 55 years old and lived in Casa Grande, AZ all of her life. Isabel is survived by her fiancé Ignacio Policarpo Cantu; her daughter, Christy Ann Benitez; her sons, Francisco Javier Santos, and Juan Mario Requena; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; her brothers, Alfredo Requena, Jesus Santos Jr, Rigoberto Santos, and Anthony Ochoa; her sisters, Rebecca Requena, Alberta Requena-Ochoa, Francisca Maldonado, Irma Mena, Roselinda Luna, and Reyna Nava; her parents, Jesus Santos, and Maria Santos; and her 4-legged son Angelito Requena Cantu. She is predeceased by her parents, Juan Gomez Requena and Cacimira Alvarez Requena. Isabel was a homemaker who loved going to the casino, cooking, dancing, and above all, she loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandbabies. Her home was always open to everyone, and you could always expect a good meal. She was always helping everyone in need and was known for her kind giving heart. Isabel always had a smile and loved to share it with the world. Isabel had the best memory and once she met you, she never forgot you. Services will be held at Meldrum Mortuary & Crematory 52 N Macdonald, Mesa, AZ 85201 on February 24, 2024, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
