Isidore Camacho Linsao Isidore Camacho Linsao made Seaside, CA. his home for more that 53 years; 52 of those years alongside Aniceta Virgino Linsao(April 17,1939 - February 22, 2019), his wife of 56 years. Isidore was born April 4,1932 in the Philippines and passed away January 8, 2020 at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. He is survived by his daughters: Annelyn Linsao-Baria(Paul Baria), Joanne Linsao(Dennis Thomas), Debbie Linsao-Sherman(Tyril Sherman) and Liza Linsao(Trevino Mathews) and grandchildren: Robbie and Robriana Johnson(Joanne); Cy, Sekou and Omari Mathews(Liza) and siblings: Priscilla Thomas, Melisa Gonzalez, Efren Linsao, and Manuel Linsao. Isidore is preceded in death by his wife, Aniceta Virgino Linsao and daughter, Vicky Linsao; parents, Prisciliano and Narcisa Linsao; brothers: Raymundo, Jose, Antonio, Jon and Macro Linsao. Isidore received his Bachelor’s Degree in the Philippines and was employed as a teacher. Isidore immigrated to the United States in 1967; returned to the Philippines for Aniceta, Annelyn and Vicky in 1969. Unfortunately, Vicky fell ill and passed away. Early 1970, Isidore, Aniceta and Annelyn made it to Seaside, CA. and made it their home. Isidore was employed in the hospitality industry for the most part at the bell desk of Hyatt Regency in Monterey retiring at the age of 71. During some periods in his life, he juggled 2 jobs. He was able to provide for the family …Aniceta, Annelyn and three daughters, Joanne, Debbie, Liza. Isidore and Aniceta always welcomed their relatives from both sides of the family, friends, townmates who were all called, “aunts, uncles and cousins” in their home. At times, strangers/guests from the Hyatt would be invited for meals in their home as well. There was always food, somewhere to sleep and a lot of love exuded in the home. While working and especially once retired, Isidore enjoyed caring for and spending time with the, “loves” of his life: first grandchild, Robbie; granddaughter, Robriana; grandsons, Cy, Sekou and Omari. He was their proud, “Papa” and he adored them all. Isidore greatly missed his wife, Aniceta, whom he lost almost a year ago. He was never the same. He is now rejoicing. May you both, Isidore and Aniceta Linsao rest in peace. You are together again. You will be missed. Services entrusted to Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park

Mission Mortuary - Monterey

Being centrally located on the Monterey Peninsula and adjacent to the San Carlos and Monterey City Cemeteries, Mission Mortuary has been the premier funeral home choice for Monterey and the entire Monterey Bay Peninsula for many years. Mission Mortuary opened its doors in 1946 at a location on Munras Avenue in Monterey and moved to our current location on Camino El Estero in 1952. While times certainly have changed, Mission Mortuary has continually adapted to meet the evolving needs of our families....
