August 19th, 1949 - February 11th, 2016
John "Jack" Gregory Andrews, 66 of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Cloquet passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 in Dallas after a long battle with leukemia. He was born on August 19, 1949 in Cloquet to Harry and Josephine (Obeidzinski) Andrews. Jack proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked for NASA and numerous federal agencies for many decades before retiring. Jack loved to travel and enjoyed fine dining. His stories about his many trips to Europe will be with the family always. Jack is survived by his sisters, Jean (Robert) Port of Cloquet and Carlie (Jim) Nynas of Esko; nieces and nephews, Kathy Port, Mary Jean (John Stuart) Port, Michael (Lisa) Port, Terri (Al) Port Wright, Ken (Paul) Port, Nancy Port, Brenda Port, Jodi (Michael) Flynn, Jim and Jeff Nynas; and many great and great great nieces and nephews. Visitation: 10 until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, March 4, 2016 in Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Cloquet. Burial will be in Old Calvary Cemetery.
