Jackie Ferguson

Jackie Ferguson, 80, of Haines City, went to be with Lord on March 21, 2023. She was born on April 1st, 1942 in Colquitt, Georgia daughter of Luther and Myrtle. Jackie moved to Haines City in 1952 from Colquitt and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in Haines City, Florida. Jackie truly enjoyed the kitchen and was always baking and cooking for her family. She loved board games, jigsaw puzzles, knitting, quilting, and gardening. It was said that she was an avid reader. Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as traveling with her husband on road trips to Georgia. She will be truly missed and will never, ever, be forgotten. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jeffrey Harold Ferguson. Jackie leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, of 63 years, David Harold Ferguson; her children, Ben Ferguson of Live Oak, FL, Vickie Wunner and husband, Tim of Davenport, FL, and Steve Ferguson and wife, DeeDee of Plant City, FL; two sisters, Janie Tyler and husband, Leo of Davenport, FL and Janice Spoor and husband, Jay of Elberton, GA; ten grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren and one on the way. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 at 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
