Jackson Thomas Edgell, 8, passed away on September 5, 2021 with his parents by his side after a lifelong battle with congenital muscular dystrophy.Jackson was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 31, 2013 to his parents, Bridget and Clayton Edgell, and sister, Juliette.Jackson was an intelligent, caring, and charming boy with a contagious smile. He was quite the comedian; always telling jokes to make others laugh. Jackson also enjoyed watching Spongebob, playing Super Mario, and listening to Jazz music during school.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his big sister, Juliette; paternal grandparents, Jon and Laurie Edgell; maternal grandparents, Steve and Jane Alexander; uncles, Anthony Edgell, Brent Edgell, and Steve Alexander and his wife, Danielle; aunt, Lauren Edgell and her fianc, Thomas Hampton; special aunties, Spring Gould, Nicole Blaisdell, and Kati Collins; cousins, Harlow and Grey Gould; special cousins, Kensley, Bensyn and Kasan; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and other relatives and friends who loved Jackson very much.Jackson was preceded in death by his great-paternal grandparents, Robert and Joy Waybright, and Marian Edgell and Ladonna O'Reilly Edgell; great-maternal grandparents, Ralph and Juliette Willette; and maternal grandmother, Mary Willette.Memorial Service, 3:00PM, Sunday, September 12, 2021, The Springs Funeral Services-North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.Masks/facial coverings are required.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the "Remembering Jackson" GoFundMe page:https://www.gofundme.com/f/jxp5xf-remembering-jackson?qid=c309d514b0dc9d8e161a02a959cab3a3 Events Memorial Service Sunday, September 12, 2021 3:00PM The Springs Funeral Services - North 6575 Oakwood Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80923 Phone: 719-207-8611
