Jacqueline Hemingway Pritchard
March 26th, 1941 - December 6th, 2015
Jacqueline Hemingway Pritchard, age 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at home. Born in Kingston, NY on March 26, 1941, she was the daughter of Stanton P. and Jean M. Hemingway (nee Lorentz). Mrs. Pritchard is survived by her husband Robert R. Pritchard; three children, Robert, Daniel, and Anne; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Virginia Curl and Jean Zabest. Mrs. Pritchard graduated from NewburghFreeAcademy in 1959 and went on to earn a BS in Elementary Education and an MS in Reading K-12 at the NY State University College of Education at New Paltz, NY. While living in Newburgh, NY, Mrs. Pritchard served on the Advisory Board of St. Luke's Hospital. She was a member of the Junior League and served as President of the Marlborough-on-HudsonGarden Club. Mrs. Pritchard taught elementary school in the NewburghCitySchool District and was a member of the Quassic Chapter of the DAR. After she and her husband retired to Venice, FL, Mrs. Pritchard became a member of the Venice Quilters' Guild, the Venice Garden Club, and Myakka Chapter of the DAR. Services and internment will be held at the convenience of the family.
