Jaime "Pancho" Rivera, Sr

Jaime Rivera, Sr. “Pancho”, 75, of Kissimmee, FL passed away on June 27, 2022. He was born on August 11, 1946 in Maunabo, PR to Jose Rivera and Margarita Ramos. Jaime moved to Florida in June 2013 from Wethersfield, CT, he worked as a head custodian for 20 plus years for the City of Hartford Public Schools and he was a member of the Iglesia Cristiana Reformada in Poinciana, FL. Jaime loved all sports, but his passion were baseball, football, and NASCAR. His favorite teams were the Red Sox and the Patriots. He enjoyed playing dominoes and fixing things around the house. Jaime was known for being a sociable man and a pet lover. He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Rivera. Jaime leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, of 19 years, Yolanda Casiano; mother, Margarita Ramos; children, Orlando Rivera and wife, Jolanda of New Jersey, Jaime Rivera Jr. and wife, Myra of West Hartford, CT, Evelyn Rivera of Maryland, Denise Rivera of New Britton, CT, Christopher Velez and wife, Corey of Wallingford, CT and Kenneth Velez of Kissimmee, FL; 11 siblings; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday July 1, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL with Pastor Karlos Palacios officiating.
