James Adamson, 89, of Colorado Springs, CO, ded Friday March 6, 2009 at bear Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Morrison, CO. Graveside Service for Jim will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, March 11 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver with son-in-law Rev. Charles Porter and Rev. Mark Parker officiating. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at First United Methodist Church, Fountain, CO with Rev. Steve Earnshaw officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Sol Amor Hospice, 7950 E. Prentice Ave, Suite 101, Greenwood Village, CO 80111. James Adamson was born October 9, 1919 in Rochester, PA the son of George and Mary Adamson. Jim served in the U.S. Navy for 1944-1946. He was married to Dorothy Gittins, who preceded himin death in 2008. Jim managed the MacFarlane Pheasant Farm 35 years in Janesville, Wisconsin. In 1980 they relocated to Colorado Springs where they managed Fuego Fireplace and Mini-U-Storage. Jim was a member of First United Methodist Chuch Fountain where he was a maintenance volunteer and a member of the men’s group. James Adamson is survived by; four daughter, Donna Gilbert and huband Jerry Delling of Monticello, Wisconsin, Linda and husband Charles of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Vickie and husband Mick Richie of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and Patricia and husband Terry Hutfles of Littleton, Colorado; eight grandchildren, Michael Eichorst and wife Heidi, John Eichorst and wife Dattia, and Stephanie Zoske all of Mr. Horeb, Wisconsin, Genevieve Johnson and husband Andy of Muncie, Indiana, Danielle Wolf and husband Chris of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael Porter of Bartlesville, Okahome, Craig Dean of Janesvill, Wisconsin, Genevieve Johnson and husband Andy of Muncie, Indiana, Danielle Wolf and husband Chris of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael Porter of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Craig Dean of Janesville, Wisconsin and Eric Smith of Aurora, Colorado; six great grandchildren, Marca, David and Hannah Eichorst, Luke and Gretta Zoske all of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, Caeden Wolf of Indianapolis, Indiana and Parker Johnson of Muncie, Indiana; two sister, Jean Johnson and Helen Street of Marion, Indiana.
