James W. "Jimmy" Clark, Jr.
June 8th, 1927 - July 25th, 2014
James W. (Jimmy) Clark, Jr., age 87, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. Clark, Sr. and Ethel F. Clark; his sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Perry G. Foster all of Stockbridge, Georgia. He was a graduate of the U. of Georgia School of Pharmacy and owned and operated his own store for over 30 years in Stockbridge, Georgia. Jimmy loved sports, particularly golf, fishing and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs. James was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betsy; and his children, Pamela Clark of Jacksonville, FL, James W. Clark, III of Norcross, GA and Valerie (Paul) Munson of Suwanee, GA. He also leaves behind granddaughters, Samantha (Joel) Frost of Braselton, GA, Elizabeth Munson of Atlanta, GA and great-granddaughters, Ella Grace and Kinsley Frost. James is also survived by his brother, William F. (Dana) Clark; a niece, Ellie (Bobby) Love of Stockbridge, GA and two nephews, Chris (Cindy) and Dave Clark. A memorial service will be held in the fall with inurnment in Stockbridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 400 Field Avenue E., Venice, Florida 34285 or Tidewell Hospice Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34285. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
