Beloved husband of Karen. Loving father to Marni (Dan), Angela (Nancy) and Jimmy (Tiffany). Proud Papa to Amanda (Mark), Dillon, Rebecca, Joshua and Alex. Great-Papa to Parker Hope. Son of the late Mollie and Mike. Brother to Mike (Debbie), Tommy, and although not by blood, but in every other sense, Pete (Michele). Brother-in-law to Cindy (Don) and Stuart (Vidal). Uncle to Tommy (Melissa), Patrick and Genesis. Friend to many. Jim was a true renaissance man. Having worked as a painter and construction site supervisor, he made lifelong friends at Norwal Inc. and C.W. Driver. Working with Newbury Park Softball, vacations in Cabo San Lucas and Carpinteria, and fishing for trout in local lakes were just a few of Jim's favorite things, as well as his beloved Chicago Bears. However, spending time with his family was always the most important thing to Jim. After retiring to Florida, Jim was ready to head out to a Disney park or resort with family and close friends Rich and Paul at a moment's notice. Jim was a man who wore his heart on his sleeve. He was generous to a fault and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. His wit was quick and his joke repertoire was vast. Jim never missed an opportunity to tell a joke or share a funny story. Organ donation was important to Jim and we know he would be proud that he assisted another person with the donation of his corneas. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13 at 2:00pm at Bethlehem Church 27265 Luther Dr. Santa Clarita, CA 91351.
