James Carl Danielson II, 45 of Winfield, Kansas died Friday, June 9, 2006 in the VA Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born December 15, 1960 in Cloquet to James and Maureen (Patnode) Danielson. James attended school in Cloquet. He was an Army veteran serving his country from 1978 to 1982. In addition to his children, Jim was proud of his trophy for being the best Jr. High swimmer in Region 8 in the 8th grade; setting the record for his weight and class in the bench press; and running Grandma's Marathon in 1990. Jim was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Dorothy Danielson and his maternal grandparents, Maurice and Hazel Patnode. He is survived by his children, Denise Danielson, Cindy Danielson, and James Danielson III; and their mother, Shannon Hampton all of Braman, Oklahoma; his parents, James and Maureen Danielson of Cloquet; sisters, Michele (Dale Abbott) Walker of Sedro-Woolley, Washington and Jami (Guy) Kalm of Cloquet; brothers, K. Peter (Sharon) of Cloquet, Philip of Houston, Texas, Thomas (Margie) of Katy, Texas, and Andrew (Stevie) of Kettle River. Memorial Services were held on Thursday, June 15, 2006 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet. Military Honors accorded by the Cloquet Combined Honor Guard. Inurnment in New Calvary Cemetery in Cloquet. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home in Cloquet.
