James "Jim" D. Garrison passed away on July 8, 2022 following a major stroke.Jim was born April 26, 1938 in Eugene, Oregon, to parents Loyd and Clara (Snodgrass) Garrison. He grew up and attended school in Portland, Oregon, graduating from Cleveland High School. He was a proud American patriot, and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. Jim made his career in the flooring industry, with roles ranging from project estimator to purchasing agent. In 2012 he married Janet (Waller) Buscho, and in 2018 they relocated to Kiowa, Colorado.Jim was an accomplished outdoorsman, and an avid gun enthusiast and collector. He was a devoted family man and life-long friend to many.He is preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Clara Garrison.Jim is survived by his wife, Janet Garrison; son, Donald Garrison; daughter, Debra (Mark) Boltz; five step-children Debby Joyner, Virgil Joyner, Denise (Tad) Duby, Aaron Joyner, and Jon (Stephanie) Joyner; brother, Robert (Carol) Garrison; sister, Sue (Randy) Brown; four grandchildren, and ten step-grandchildren.Celebration of Life, 2:00PM, Saturday, July 16, 2022, American Legion Hall, 2146 Southeast Monroe Street, Milwaukie, Oregon 97222.
