James "Jim" Gibbons

HAINES CITY - James "Jim" Gibbons, 76, of Haines City died Sunday, June 15, 2014 from heart failure. He was born September 19, 1937 in Scranton, PA, to James C. and Claire (Byron) Gibbons. Mr. Gibbons was plant manager for H. P. Smith working in paper products. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Johneanne Gibbons; sons Ken (Debbie) Gibbons of CA and Steve Gibbons of TX; sister Shirley Byrnes of Chicago; John (Joyce) Nagel and Jan Nagel; grandchildren Jordan (JLG), Chelsy, Amy, Sarah, Jack and Cindy; great grandchild Lillian; nieces Cindi and Katie; nephew J.R.; and other loving family. Private interment services will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
