James "Jay" Howard Jeffcoat

James "Jay" Howard Jeffcoat, III, 40, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away February 11, 2017. He was born on May 28, 1976 in Florence, South Carolina to James Howard Jeffcoat, Sr and Sandra Salyers. Jay worked as an HVAC technician at Dan's Heating and Air. He lived life to the fullest and was loved by all that knew him. He will be remembered for his loving and kind heart. Jay would help anyone in need and give them the shirt off of his back if needed. Jay is survived by his mother, Sandra Salyers; his daughter, Carmella Jeffcoat; siblings, Lacy Beavers, Marie Crews, Marie Jeffcoat, Bubba Jeffcoat, "Cliff" Hayes, Jeff Jeffcoat, Tonya Hayes and Dwayne Hayes; fiancé' Gabriel "Gabby" Russell; aunts; uncles; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Jeffcoat, Sr. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209 on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 11:00AM - 12:00PM. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00PM. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
