James Ray Lykins, Sr., 55 of Nokomis, Florida died Wednesday May 7, 2008. Mr. Lykins was born on December 25, 1952 in Hazard, Kentucky to Raymond M. and Geneva (Morris) Lykins, and had been a life long resident of Nokomis. Survivors include his children, James Lykins, Jr. of Atlantic Beach, FL; Daniel Patton of Lady Lakes, FL; Desiree Lykins and Michael Lykins both of Nokomis, FL; Brandy Lykins of Alabama; sister, Patricia Albritton of Osprey, FL; brother, Michael Fields of Port Charlotte, FL; 6 grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Lykins and Geneva Jenkins Visitations will be held on Monday May 12, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and Tuesday May 13, 2008 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Farley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 13, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel. Burial to follow at Jesse Knight Cemetery, Nokomis, FL.
